Because each piece of jewelry is entirely made by hand, some shapes may vary slightly.  No two pieces are exactly the same.

All designs are handmade by me currently from Los Angeles, CA.

Material Notes:

I work in solid 14k gold, 14/20 gold fill, gold plated, 925 sterling silver and brass materials.

  • Do you use real turquoise?

  • YES. Most of my larger turquoise pieces use American Mined Gold Canyon turquoise stones mined in Arizona. This mine is the only active turquoise mine left in the state. Genuine American mined turquoise is becoming very rare. American turquoise is significantly more expensive than a majority of stones, which are coming from China, however it is much more meaningful to me to be able to work with stones found here in America. This way I know that the turquoise is purchased in it’s natural state and free from dyes or epoxy. Some of the 3-4 mm smaller stones are mined in Mexico.

  • What is gold fill? -

14/20 gold fill has a thick layer of quality 14k gold on one or both sides legally at 5% of the total weight. It will not tarnish or rub off and thus is of higher quality and value than gold plated material. Gold plating is a minuscule layer of solid gold applied to a brass base. The plating does not compose any measurable proportion of the products total weight. It is estimated to be 0.05% or less of the metal product.  Many of my designs are made with 14/20k gold fill and come with gold plated chains. If you would like your chain to be 14k/20 gold fill as well, simply email me a note with your order - usually the extra cost is around $20-25. Gold fill matches solid gold most accurately.

  • Every piece in my collections are hand polished.

Gold Fill Info and Care:

You may gently clean with soapy water and a toothbrush.

Sterling Silver Info and Care: You may gently clean with soapy water and a toothbrush, although the natural tarnishing / oxidation process of sterling is desirable as well. If you would like to keep your sterling silver piece from tarnishing please place it in an air tight container with a small anti-tarnish strip.

Brass Info and Care:

The brass I use is nickel free - (85% copper/15% zinc).  Brass will change it's color over time + with use - fade or darken. We really love this natural process, which will make your jewelry truly unique. If you prefer a golden look, it is very easy to clean and polish brass and bronze.  To re shine, just soak your piece in warm soapy water, or if you prefer a more brushed finish, feel free to scrub gently with some steel wool.  Honestly, brushing your brass/bronze jewelry with ketchup (yes, ketchup) also does a beautiful job and is actually my preferred approach.  If that sounds yucky, you may also use lemon juice or vinegar mixed with flour and water.

Please do not put turquoise or opal pieces in ultra sonic cleaners.
